TCA Shred Event 2026

The fifth annual Towson Communities Alliance Shred Event on Thursday, April 23 was very popular again this year.

118 cars from 38 different neighborhoods. And likely many more that didn’t get counted in the initial rush. Mostly from Towson, but ranging from Roland Park to Timonium.
30+ bags and boxes of donated food was distributed to Assistance Center of Towson Churches (ACTC) and Student Support Network (SSN).
$300 in cash donations were also split between ACTC and SSN.
Funding for the shred truck was provided by Thrivent and Towson Communities Alliance.
Thank you to Ascension Lutheran Church for granting permission to use their parking lot for the event.
