Subject: 19030 DX1 WX2 Kingston Road Drainage Improvement and 8″ & 10″ Water Main Replacement

On September 14, 2020, as part of the above referenced contract, Rivers Construction will begin installation of drainage structures starting at the intersection of Regester Road and Wardman Road. Due to size of these structures and limited available space, Regester Road will be closed to through traffic between York Road and Edgewood Road for period of 4 days (September 17, 2020) to install three manholes (M-1, M-2 and M-3).

Regester Road also will be closed from September 18 through September 25 between the hours of 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM to through traffic for installation of drainage structures and piping system. The road will be opened to through traffic after stated working hours. All residents will have access to their properties during the closure period. We have installed all necessary detour signs and also installed two VMS boards today to alert travelers of this event.

I would appreciate if you issue a lane closure permit for the requested period.

Sincerely;
