When we began to update our vision for the future development of Towson University’s campus, we asked for your help, and you delivered. Over the past year, at more than 65 open forums, focus group sessions and individual meetings, you shared your thoughts, concerns and ideas for Towson University’s future. As we listened, three themes emerged: capacity, community and connections. The new campus master plan is built on these three tenets and includes your valuable feedback.
Master Plan Highlights
- 3,000 new student beds
- 1,700 new parking spots
- New science and College of Health Professions buildings
- A bike and pedestrian beltway to provide safer pathways for recreation and better connections to downtown Towson
- A new building at the corner of York Road & Burke Avenue to better connect the campus to the community
Thank you for helping us design the future of Towson University.
Sincerely,
Kris Phillips
