In response to Kevin Scally’s letter published on Sept. 2. It is not only the GTCCA president who doesn’t like the plan. I am a member of the “community as a whole” and I don’t like the proposed plan either. The problems are the impact on traffic, lack of sufficient parking, scope of the project (too big), lack of green space, avoidance of paying for open space waiver fees, and environmental impact. If this land will be developed, the Baltimore County Council should remember that Towson residents are here for the long term and we want an investment in our community not just in the developer’s pockets.
