On Monday, March 16, the Baltimore County Council passed an amended Planned Unit Development resolution for Towson Mews, a residential development proposed near Historic East Towson.

I am very pleased we were able to accommodate many concerns from residents of Historic East Towson. They wanted more open space and a development plan that was better integrated into the local neighborhood. We worked with the developer to create a new common area, and to require the donation of street trees that will be planted in Historic East Towson.

Towson Mews is a good project. It will bridge the gap between Downtown Towson and one of our most historic neighborhoods in Baltimore County. I am happy we created a consensus plan.
