Message from Ed Berlett, Director of MPAI, Towson University:

I am writing to you because you are a leader in the Towson Community.  You might not be aware of the exceptional education resource right in your own backyard.  The Maryland Performing Arts Institute is located right on the campus of Towson University.  MPAI is a music preparatory school founded to provide quality music instruction both to Towson University and the Towson community.

MPAI offers music instruction for most instruments including voice, guitar, piano, flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet and trombone.  People of all ages and abilities are encouraged.  We have qualified instructors experienced in teaching beginning students to the very advanced students, and ages ranging from 4 to 80+.  MPAI also has instructors with experience teaching students with learning and physical disabilities.  In short we are a great place for anyone interested in growing their music talents.

The lessons are held in the Center for the Arts Building at Towson University on the corner of Osler Drive  and Cross Campus Drive.  The spring semester begins Tuesday, January 20, 2015.  For more information we can be found on the web at http://www.mdpai.org, call 410 704 3248 or send an email to kshin@mdapi.org.  We would be happy to talk to you and answer any questions.

Please let the people you serve know that this resource is available.

Thanks,

Ed Berlett, Director of MPAI
