Breaking Tigerfest into a two-day event and moving the concert indoors both seemed to have contributed to lowering the number of emergency incidents.

This year, according to Deputy Chief of Police Joseph Herring, there were only two medical transports related to Tigerfest over this past weekend.

One was for an attendee on Saturday who suffered a minor injury, and one was for an employee of a contractor who was feeling ill. There were no alcohol citations at the events and there were no arrests made at the events.
