The intent of this meeting is to answer questions posed by the public regarding the Forest Conservation Program Plan.  Questions that are not fully satisfied at the public meeting may be addressed to the Maryland Department of Natural Resources-Forest Service, State Forest Conservation Program, Tawes State Office Building E-1, 580 Taylor Avenue, Annapolis, MD 21401.

The Forest Service is reviewing the following applications for a Forest Conservation Program Plan Approval. The applications and related information are on file at the Central Region Office of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Forest Service, 2 South Bond St., Bel Air, MD 21014.  Arrangements may be made for inspections and copying of file materials.

Applications received:

Towson University proposes the construction of Site and Safety Improvements to their campus in Towson, Baltimore County, affecting 0.8 acres of existing forest, as part of a Forest Conservation Plan (C13-23) submitted to the State of Maryland Forest Conservation Program.  The site is located in the Patapsco River watershed.  Information about this project may be obtained by contacting the Central Region State Forest Conservation Program Coordinator at (410) 836-4568.
